Mega Journal of Medicine is a fully peer-reviewed, open-access international journal led by an outstanding Editorial/reviewers Team of international experts, this multidisciplinary double blind peer-reviewed open-access journal is at the forefront of disseminating and communicating scientific knowledge and impactful discoveries to researchers, scholars, academics, clinicians, and the public worldwide. Mega Journal of Medicine provides researchers with a platform to rapidly publish their research in a high-quality, peer-reviewed journal. All peer-reviewed, accepted articles meeting high research and ethical standards are published with free access to all.
All manuscripts submitted to the Mega Journal of Medicine involving human subjects must adhere to current regulations and the Helsinki Declaration. Ethics committee authorization and informed patient consent are necessary for studies involving human subjects. Ethics committee consent is also required for studies relating to animals. Phase I–IV clinical trials submitted for publication in the Mega Journal of Medicine must have been registered with an appropriate public trials registry at the time of or before the first patient enrolment. Authors are required to disclose all apparent or potential conflicts of interest according to the ICMJE guidelines and those of the Mega Journal of Medicine. Mega Journal of Medicine endeavours to follow the guidelines and best practice recommendations published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Mega Journal of Medicine publishes various article types, including Research Papers, Reviews, Case Reports, Editorials, Communications, etc. Our main aim is to encourage researchers and scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. The full experimental information must be provided so that the outcome can be reproduced.
Editorial Process and Peer Review
Once you have submitted your manuscript to our journal, it goes through the following steps:
- The journal’s editorial assistant checks the manuscript and associated materials for quality and completeness.
- The manuscript is assigned to an editor.
- The editor and the editorial team make a decision whether or not to send the manuscript out for review; the corresponding author is contacted about the decision.
- The editor contacts potential reviewers to ask them to review the manuscript.
- Reviewers read the article and submit their reports regarding the article.
- The editor and the editorial team discuss the reviewer reports, and decide whether the manuscript or a revised version of it could be published in the journal.
- The editor contacts the author about the decision.
- If the decision is negative, the author can choose to transfer the manuscript, including the reviewer’s comments, to another journal. If the decision is positive, the author will usually be asked to revise the article and resubmit.
